Severe Weather?

Most of the Northeast is currently under a marginal or general risk. A marginal risk could produce a few isolated severe thunderstorms, small hail and damaging winds. The main threat today is very isolated hail and strong winds.
POST FRONTAL ESELY UPSLOPE WINDS WILL ADVECT LOW-LEVEL MOISTURE WWD TO THE HIGHER TERRAIN...AIDING IN BOUNDARY-LAYER DESTABILIZATION THROUGH THE AFTERNOON. ISOLATED TO SCATTERED STORMS WILL LIKELY DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON WITH MODERATE TO STRONG EFFECTIVE SHEAR SUPPORTIVE OF A FEW SUPERCELLS CAPABLE OF ISOLATED HAIL/WIND THREAT.
