Tuesday Storms Clear; More on Thursday

Many storms passed through the region on Tuesday associated with a cold front, and once it passes, the storms will clear. The cold front is clearly visible on the radar.


This is the precipitable water map. The areas in darkest green shading still needs to be careful this Tuesday evening, as they could see some heavy rain that leads to some flooding.


We will get a break for Wednesday with not only the rain, but also the humidity. Unfortunately, Wednesday is the only day. The humidity and thunderstorm chance does come back on Thursday. The SPC has put most of New Jersey in a MARGINAL risk of severe weather on Thursday.
