   THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A
   * TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF 

     SOUTHERN DELAWARE

     EASTERN MARYLAND

     NORTHEAST NORTH CAROLINA

     EASTERN VIRGINIA

     COASTAL WATERS
   * EFFECTIVE THIS SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING FROM 155 PM UNTIL

     800 PM EDT.
   * PRIMARY THREATS INCLUDE…

     A FEW TORNADOES POSSIBLE

     SCATTERED DAMAGING WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH POSSIBLE

     ISOLATED LARGE HAIL EVENTS TO 1 INCH IN DIAMETER POSSIBLE
   SUMMARY…SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO INTENSIFY THIS

   AFTERNOON OVER THE WATCH AREA. STRONG WINDS ALOFT AND FAVORABLE

   INSTABILITY WILL POSE A RISK OF SUPERCELL STORMS CAPABLE OF

   TORNADOES…ALONG WITH LOCALLY DAMAGING WINDS.

   MILES EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 55 MILES NORTH NORTHWEST OF

   SALISBURY MARYLAND TO 40 MILES WEST OF ELIZABETH CITY NORTH
